Employee Receives Memory Care Innovation Award
WILLIAMSBURG, VA – Williamsburg Landing is proud to share that Pattie Gaudio, Dementia Services Educator, was selected as one of the inaugural members of the 2024 Memory Care Innovation Awards in the Senior Housing and Senior Living Category by the Aging Media Network, a WTWH Healthcare company.
Pattie was selected alongside just 23 other senior living professionals in the country who dedicate their time to providing innovative cognitive care for individuals living with memory-related disorders and support for their caregivers and loved ones.
For over 17 years, Pattie has been an instrumental part of the Williamsburg Landing Memory Support team, working towards our vision of “living fully beyond ageism”. Her passion for innovation led to opening the groundbreaking Namaste Community in 2023, the first and only of its kind for a senior living community in Virginia, serving residents in advanced stages of dementia.
Winners of the Memory Care Innovation Awards were invited to attend this year’s BRAIN Conference in Chicago. This conference provided the opportunity to network with owners, operators, developers and investors in the Memory Care realm while learning about the latest in care practices and design trends for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s. “The conference was an amazing experience with so many great speakers from around the country who are at the forefront of Dementia Care. I am thrilled to take these ideas and knowledge back to Williamsburg Landing as we continue pursing excellence in senior services”, said Pattie Gaudio.
Williamsburg Landing is a CARF-accredited, nonprofit life plan community featuring Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Long-term Term Nursing, Memory Support, Namaste, and Adult Day services.
