Williamsburg Landing is a CARF-CCAC Accredited Community
Say Hello To Quality Service & Resident Satisfaction.
Williamsburg Landing is the first CARF accredited Life Plan Community in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia and among only 15% of accredited Life Plan Communities in the country. Accreditation is significant — it demonstrates a community’s commitment to continuously improve quality of service and resident satisfaction.
Beyond State Licensure - CARF Accreditation
What is CARF?
CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services, including aging services and medical rehabilitation. In 2003, CARF acquired The Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) and today, CARF is the nation’s accrediting body for Life Plan (CCRC) communities.
A Mark of Quality
To be accredited, organizations must demonstrate ongoing innovation and conformance to internationally-recognized standards. This requires a continually improvement of governance and administrative structures, fiscal practices, and the care and services provided to older adults.
A Sign of Integrity
To achieve accreditation, an organization must have a genuine commitment to constant self-evaluation and performance improvements guided by an external, independent, third-party organization. Everyone within the organization — staff, residents, and the board of directors — is involved in the accreditation process.
A Standard for Comparison
Accreditation is a concrete way to evaluate the many senior living options available today. Many financial and planning advisors recommend that consumers look for the CARF logo when choosing a provider.
